A Cameroonian woman named Danny Zara has announced plans for a 200-hour sex marathon.
Zara said in a Facebook post that Guinness World Records was “aware of my plans to attempt 200 hours of uninterrupted sexual intercourse.”
She asked for the participation of men willing to participate in the big project, which is scheduled to start from July 17-25, 2023.
There is a widespread belief across Nigeria that the country is facing a decline in traditional values which has resulted in an increase in youth engaging in risky sex practices, teenage pregnancy rates adolescence, substance abuse, and school dropout. For example, an increasing number of young people are engaging in sexual activity with multiple sexual partners at the same time with clear gender differences in that men tend to have more concurrent sexual partners than women. These risky behaviors are related to factors at the individual level. , family and environment, puts young people at risk for sexually transmitted diseases that can affect them throughout their lives.
There is a lot going on in the world today, some says the world would soon come to an end, who knows?, but then, Nigeria is unique, and I strongly believe there are still very much sane people that wouldn’t even think about making such attempt, well who knows, anything can happen, some certain things has the tendencies to be inevitable.
The event is supposed to set a Guinness World Record. “Sex-a-thon” as an event is not only absurd, unhealthy, immoral and potentially tarnishing the image of the state, it is also a program that goes against the values of the state of the people to the state and thus potentially plunge into our morally retarded youth.
